But because the nearest school is miles away, the fees are too high or the classroom simply does not exist. At Havenhands we believe that child deserves better. Every single one of them.
Educational inequality
One of the greatest barriers to breaking the cycle of poverty is the lack of access to quality education. In rural and underserved communities across Asia and Africa millions of children have little to no chance of ever setting foot in a classroom.
Opening classroom Doors
We finance, develop, construct and sustain schools designed to meet the educational needs of vulnerable and marginalized children. We supply learning materials, fund scholarships and work alongside local education authorities to ensure every school we build becomes a permanent fixture of its community rather than a temporary intervention.
